Our mother has been in this facility for a while and I think that it’s the best place for her to be. The staff is considerate, kind and makes sure that our mom gets the best care at all times. We have and will continue to recommend this facility to anyone in need of care.

I went to The Gardens at Stroud after falling ill and I can’t thank the staff enough for all they have done for me. I was able to discharge back home and it’s all because of their hard work, encouraging kind words and affirmation with me. I will definitely recommend this facility and should I need rehab in the future I will definitely go back.

Lisa W.

I am very grateful for the care my father received at The Gardens at Stroud for the duration of his stay there and also how comfortable the staff made me, my sister and dad feel in his last days. we can never repay the staff for their kindness and dedication.

William Long, age 54, came to the Gardens of Stroud after being diagnosed with a Left foot wound and orders for non-weight bearing on his left foot.

William required skilled therapy to improve his overall strength and endurance and to learn transfers with his weight bearing precautions.

William learned to initially propel his wheelchair independently in the facility and was later ordered a knee scooter so that he could become more ambulatory while still maintaining his weight bearing precautions.

At time of discharge, Mr. Long was able to demonstrate modified independence with his knee scooter in the facility up to 500 feet, and outdoors could manage uneven parking surfaces, descend on incline surfaces and curbs with modified independence while maintaining his Non-weight bearing precautions.

Mr. Long was pleased with his ability to be able to return home without being confined to a wheelchair.

Thank you William for choosing us for your rehabilitation. We wish you the best of luck!
